Unto the Most Ancient Barony of Loch Salann do We, Æylwin and Amanda, send greetings!
My, how time flies! The wonderful populace of Loch Salann never ceases to amaze me in its passion for learning, service, and leading the way! Once again, Loch Salann sets a standard for excellence for all of the Griffon Lands! In this past month, We have witnessed the impressive efforts of HG Sean, HE Heloyse, and assembled staff in making the Arts and Sciences Collegium a huge success! Congrats to all who shared their learning and most impressive Arts and Sciences! Shortly before that, Loch Salann once again won the Arrows Flight sword for donating the most toys at Toys for Tots, while sharing in the revelry and largess to the USMC and serving the youth in our greater community.
December brings with it many great opportunities to revel, play in the snow, and the ability to share The Dream with all around us. The month starts off of the 2nd with the annual demo at Zoo Lights! Join us at the Hogle Zoo on Saturday evening to advertise the joy of The Dream, sharing our skills with the local community. There will be fighting, both armored and rapier, the blacksmiths guild, garb display, and more! Please come lend your support and let Us know how you can help! Bring your Arts and Sciences projects and display items and remember to wear some warm garb! Zoolights Demo at Hogle Zoo
Then, on the 9th, we shall celebrate with all of the populace of the greatest barony in the lands! Rumor has it that there will be Solstice, the musical! Come ready to share your fun songs and bardic arts throughout the day! There will also be games, dance, time visit! I have even heard that there will be an appearance by Father Christmas! Check out the baronial website for more information: http://www.lochsalann.org/solstice-court-2017/
