Unto the Most Ancient Barony of Loch Salann do We, Æylwin and Amanda, send greetings!
With the coming of October and the cool Fall winds, falling leaves, and the amazing smells of Autumn, We are reminded of the passing of time with you, the beloved populace of Loch Salann. Pull up a warm cup of cocoa, or even that pumpkin spice latte, and share with Us your favorite memories!
Congratulations go out to our chosen successors, Hoggar and Bronwyn, as they will step up as Baron and Baroness at Solstice Court on the 8th of December! Come share with Us and witness the barony’s 40th birthday celebration and Investiture! Bring your finest court garb, heraldry and table settings to enjoy a feast by the Crystal Bloom, under the tutelage of HL Johan!
These past few months have been a whirlwind of activity, taking us to all corners of the great lands of Artemisia, from the beautiful SoLAr lands in Cedar City/ Saint George, to the Utah Renaissance Faire, and to 1000 Eyes and beyond! This past month We celebrated with the Kingdom the coming of new Royalty in Yuri and Sumaya; long may they reign!
This month there are more opportunities to share your Dream with friends and family! If your travels find you in the North, plan to attend Harvest Court in the Barony of Sentinel’s Keep on October 13th. We will bear witness to the coming of Heirs to the Kingdom, as we go to Crown Tournament in Gryphon’s Lair on the 20th of October. It will a day of revelry and courtesy both on and off the field! Then, looking into November, We will travel to The Province of Arrow’s Flight for Toys for Tots. Come help Her Excellency to retain the sword of the Province by donating toys for the US Marine Corps!
Locally, stay tuned to the baronial website, http://www.lochsalann.org for updates and guild activities throughout the month, including the Loch Salann University and many more! Please feel free to reach out to our wonderful web minister, Jevan, to post any updates for your activities all year long.
The Barony has openings for Exchequer, List Minister, Herald, and deputies in all areas, so come and see the inner workings of our Dream and sign up to take an office. Please inquire into these offices. As they say, many hands make for light work!
May the road rise up to meet you and may the wind be always at your back!
Æylwin & Amanda – Baron & Baroness of Loch Salann
