Dragon Alert…Dragon Alert… Dragon Alert… A Dragon Hunt is being organized!
Flights of dragons have been spotted regularly circling in the sky over the Traverse range near South Bridge Manor in Draper. Our good Baron has become concerned for the safety of his people and calls on all who are brave and willing to join the Dragon Hunt. To be held on the 30th of September, beginning at 3:00 PM, and the party will go until after dark.
Dragons will be hunted by Bow and Arrow, at a spot loving called the BOAB (broad side of a barn) at 12765 South 1300 East, parking for this part of the hunt will be in the back of Baroness Ferelit’s Mac Donald’s home next door at 12755 South 1300 East signs will be posted. Archers of all skill levels are invited, and loner gear will be available for those who have never tried this sport before.
The Hunt will continue at South Bridge Manor (13575 South 1300 East in Draper) as the mighty hunters will attack the dragons with spear, axe and knife. Close to the same area a nesting ground has been spotted and children of all ages will be encouraged to hunt out the eggs to completely destroy even this potential danger.
Following the Successful Hunt, a Pot Luck Feast will be laid out at South Bridge Manor and we can all relax and tell tales of daring do and our peaceful plans for the future now that the danger has been eliminated. Following the meal a bardic is planned featuring but not limited to folk songs and stories of the SCA and S-Mores.
